WAYFINDING CHALLENGE (old)
In this research activity, I explored the experience of wandering in liminal spaces through a wayfinding challenge. I gave participants fifteen minutes to find as many of the five destinations marked on the map as they could—only, the map displayed where they were but not how to get there. Following this condensed, gamified format, I interviewed participants on the strategies they improvised, as well as the emotional journey of the indeterminacy, and found highly-individualized results.
